Helmets on, its go time.

Alright, it's the big day, my first day at the court house. I am super nervous and excited. Last night, it snowed, and the schools have delays but the court house is open. I cleaned off my car and went for a test drive this morning, just to be sure I was okay driving, since my car doesnt have 4 wheel drive.
I did just fine, the side streets were a little icy but other than that the main roads were fine.

Be sure to check out, Simply Elle's Daily Fashion to see what I wore today.

Breathe. That is all you can do!

i'm a nervous nEllIE today

Why, might you ask? I am starting my internship at the court house tomorrow. This is quite nerve racking for me. Even though, I have already interned for a senator, this should be a compatable to what I was doing there. This internship has a lot riding on it- a future job, whether or not I return back to retail, whether I fill out a resume at another store closer to home who give health insurance and tuition reimbursment. This 225 hour internship is potentally my future.

Well, I will be probably back on here, later.

Maybe I'm the one you won't forget.

I just haven't found you yet....

Today was an interesting day. I had to go up to school to register ( in person) for  my internship aka full time paying job at the court house. (silent happy dance) So I take the hour trek up to school, find a perfect parking spot and I saunter on the path to the Registration building to grab a registration sheet, then I head over  to the experiential learning office to pick up the packet my internship coordinator left for me. After that I wondered through the buildings to get to the L building where my paralegal classes are so I can talk to my professor so he can sign the release, blah blah blah. I find the Learning Assistant who has a lot to tell me ( you're smart you need to go to law school [yeah okay let me find $100k+] )/ tell me (come next Wednesday and listen to speakers)/ babble on about other things. Finally my professor comes in and I practically just into his arms because I am so eager to finally be registered. He finally sits down and writes his spiel and I am on my happy way across the hall so the secretary can sign the deans signature and stamp it so its official. I could have done that one!
I take my bouncy self back through the maze of the buildings and find myself sitting in the registration building filling out the registration form. I literally hop on the line and find myself listening in on the conversation that is transpiring in front of me:
older lady: I live in Monmouth County now
registration lady: Ma'am does your license show that your address is in Monmouth county?
older lady: No, I just moved here last week.
( this banter goes on for a few minutes)
registration lady: what is your major?
older lady: I don't have one
registration lady: oh, I need to put one in or it wont let me go forward. Is business okay?
older lady:( obviously annoyed now) I don't care what you put down, I am only taking one class
(this goes on for a while too)
During this banter, a HUGEEE line forms behind me. I'm thinking to myself, please god make this lady get done fast!!
Finally after about 15 minutes, another lady comes to a computer and says " I'll take the next person" and I speak up and say "ME! " like that wasn't the obvious choice. HA this is the conversation between me and the lady:
me: hi
lady: hello
me:.....
lady: ......( busy clacking away on the key board) (not looking up)
me:.....
lady:...........
me:..................
lady: here you go.
me: Have a wonderful day!!!!!
Again I bounce down the hallway about 20 feet to the accounts receivable window and pay the ridiculous 3 credit fee of $796.32.

I leave there and bounce down the hallway again because I finally am registered for my final semester!

I wander back to my car and head home and ate lunch with mommy.
After lunch we went to the gym, and of course we saw Michael Buble. I melted like a 12 year old HAHAH. Then there were all these 12 year olds running around. Legit 12 year olds at the gym, in tight ass clothes that looked about 2 sizes too small. Really girls!??! go home and play with your barbies!

Anyway, I am all done with my rant/funny stories/antics about the day.

stay positive.

so it was right next to...

Happy Thursday everyone!

I am feeling so much better after being sick yesterday!

I went to Walmart today for my mom to pick up some odds and ends including TOY STORY soup! (actually that was just a side item that I picked up for myself!)

After that was a nice lunch out with Mommy and Daddy. Of course it was nice to spend time with them. My mom  processes to let me know that since  I am graduating college in May, she would really like to give me a party. (sidenote: January 1st, Mommy asked me if I wanted a party or a vacation somewhere; after a long time to think about it, I decided on a vacation to Disney World. I do not have a lot of friends ; i have a lot of acquaintances. So Disney World looked like a good choice. Subject dropped and a trip to Disney World was booked within the week.) I think about it for about 5 seconds and I said sure, why not! I get super duper excited now but then I start to think, who am I going to invite?

After a leisurely lunch, we head to the gym. Now I LOVEEEE  going to the gym, especially with my parents becuase they are so friendly they know EVERYONE.  They talk to everyone and since they started going to this gym, before me, they have told everyone about me. So for the last couple of times, I've seen this boy at the gym; he is gorgeous, tall, dark hair, handsome like old school frank sanatra, and just fit. My mom and I have nicknamed him " Michael Buble" HAha.

My day was pretty boring other than that.

just be you!

Happy Snow day??

Well hello everyone! I hope you all had a great snowday, if you were lucky enough to have one. Myself, for example, had a sunny snow free day today.  Actually, I believe I caught a bug that has been going around. I have been so good with not getting sick and this actually knocked me off my feet! boooo!

Nothing really exciting happened besides watching  Erin Brochivich, Legally Blonde 2 and possible Top Gun.

Be safe out there bloggers, its a crazy snowy world!

New Month, New Start

Happy Februrary everyone!

The first day of the month is always exciting, you never know what is coming and who knows what is around the corner ( hopefully NO MORE SNOW).

Today, I had to do a couple of errands, that include returning items to stores that one was too big and two was too small. I had to fill out an application for the job I got ( I know its backwards but as you learn, i tend to do things backwards!) and then I went to the gym for an hour with my parents. I know you are probably saying "You actually hang out with your parents?!" Yes, I do. They are incredibly awesome people and they are a bundle of fun.

Something fun I like to do is people watch. Have you ever been somewhere and just watched people- how they act or what they do when they think no one is looking? Its an intresting thing to do. You should try it sometime.

I was at target today buying this awesome dress, that two days ago, I tried on but decided not to get but I have been thinking about it for the last two days and since I was in the area of Target, I knew I had to go back. Luck was on my side today- as I ran through the store to find the dress, I come  upon the rack and neating and evenly spaced were 9 dresses sitting on the rack. I quickly scan the sizes and find the magical size '6'. The only 6 on the rack, I quickly grabbed it as if someone was going to grab it out of my hands and ran to the register. I had ONE item in my hand, the senseable thing to do is find an express lane right? Well,  I thought so too, and I start noticing the customer in front of me was putting his items on the converbelt and he just kept going and going and going and going. I look at him, look up at the sign which clearly states " Express Lane 10 items or less" and then I look down at my one item. I roll my eyes and jump on another what I thought would be an Express Lane and the lady infront of me, had at least 20 items on the converbelt too. I just couldn't win!  I finally reach the register and pay and then I am on my way with this awesome dress! This dress you ask , what does it look like? well here it is- Blue Dress. Needless to say, this will be my graduation dress in May!

So now I'm back here, sitting at my computer writing this.

Have a good night, bloggers and pray for this snow/ice/mess to pass us by!

hello world!

Hi, I’m Elle. I’m 23 and this year is my year.  I finally landed a “big girl” job and life couldn’t be more wonderful.

I found an old blog the other day, where I would type about my people watching observations, some observations were funny, some were weird but the thing that I enjoyed most was being able to tell someone something funny.

We’ll blog, that someone  is you!

I hope to post my people watching observations and my fashions for working at my “big girl” job and my daily ramblings of life.

Thanks for reading and I hope you stay tuned.
